Austin Museum Day

Sunday was the free day at all the Austin museums. We went to the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. It was fun to see what interested the boys. Samuel was most impressed with the elevator and the giant star sculpture outside. Caleb found an astronaut suit and an old computer from "Ground Control" at Houston that had been converted into a trivia game. His evening prayer included thanksgiving for swords, guns, cannons, and cannon balls. Owen stood looking at the engine of a WWII Plane forever. I enjoyed the Indian artifacts and the cowboy outfits the most. When we got to the car I said "That was kinda fun" Caleb looked at me in shock. "What do you mean, kinda fun? It was really, really, fun!" Later that night and into Monday Samuel went around asking everyone, "Did you have fun Daddy? Did you have fun at the Zeeum, Calebey?."
